Current Situation

Well, it’s week 5 of my academic study..this is the last week before I and all my friends have our holiday. It will be about 2 weeks, which means quiet a long time break. In the last 5 weeks, I thought there were many interesting things to look at especially when projects fill every second of our life..It is terrorizing, yes it is haunting us down! But, I am very happy indeed to know the fact that I have very supportive friends now and there in the campus..We do chat a lot, we are having funs like there is no tomorrow. Well, there is tomorrow but it’s wonderful to know that we are standing together to face these projects. Maybe "it is better for you to walk together in the darkness rather than to walk alone in the light". I know that there are still some limitations to but this issue wont be stopping me to work harder on my own..

Holiday Plan
==========
Talking about holiday, I bet that you guys already had bunch of ideas of where to go or what to do during this break period. I mean 2 weeks is indeed a very long break, well at least I think so. I also have built my own holiday plan, the aim is I can enjoy and relax while at the same time learn something new or something interesting.

For some of my friends, the holiday starts on Friday or even faster; but for me it starts on Saturday. I still have to do my IELTS test on Saturday, well I hope I can do excellent in this test in order to have my "one-step-closer" ticket to go to RMIT. In the mean time during the holiday, I still have to do some preparation to go to RMIT. I need to complete some legal documents maybe it will consume some of my time during the holiday, but if I can sort this thing out pretty quickly then I dont have to deal with these documentation stuffs later on.

Other things I would like to do during this holiday is to hang-out with some of friends, well it’s Ajeph the holiday planner. We chatted a lot before of what to do during this holiday, and crazy ideas just like flyin everywhere. Maybe, if things go accordingly we will go together like two or three times during the whole holiday..I myself plan to go to mangga2mall, my favorite place of shopping ever of course. I have planned to buy a new razer gaming mouse, the DiamondBack 3G but I am still considering one or two things. Well, maybe we plan to have buffet dinner during this holiday..I should talk to Ajeph about this plan, but to those who want to join, welcome!

Moreover, I also want to allocate some of the holiday time to do things I love the most. Since playing game is not my top priority anymore, then it wouldnt have any relation to gaming whatsoever. Well, I guess it would be either dancing, spa/sauna, or desktop customizing. But, i really prefer dancing pretty much. It’s been like 7 months the last time I danced, well usually during my gym session I joined street jam or street dance class for 1 or 2 hours session. It was really fun to have this hobby, all of your body moves and synchronize to the music beat. I am sure this holiday, I’ll find some time to dance again…I just luv dancing:p

One thing that is also important is to do my project during this holiday. I owe some AGDP (advanced games design and programming, it was ACG  [advanced computer graphics] before) assignments during the lab session, I guess I should start working on these assignments no matter what. The project however is really tiring, I try to divide the job to my partners in the mean time but it makes me even more confused. The reason is probably I also dont have like really high skill in programming, I myself still struggling with my own coding…if it is mixed with the other, it will be very tiring to integrate all the modules. If I dont divide the work, it seems like I am so selfish to take all the portions, well that sort of thought would never ever come to my mind..the main reason is (like i said previously) my coding skill is not in very high level, in this semester I struggle even more than the previous semesters…To divide the work while at the same time facing the fact that I still have problem with my own coding, well the best of this you can imagine yourself..or if you guys have better suggestions then lemme know:p

Finally, the AGDP course sums up my whole plan for this holiday. I know I’m going to miss campus during this holiday, this semester campus it’s really my second home where friends never die. It is killing me now to go to and back from campus, the traffic doesnt make sense at all, I cant even imagine what is it gonna be later in the future. It’s been my 5th year in Jakarta since 2002 (the year I move to Jakarta from my hometown), the traffic never been better ever unless it is holiday where everybody goes outside town. My campus environment is really warming this semester, I found out many changes around that make campus having more souls. To those who have been very supporting throughout the first 5 weeks of 5th semester, I just wanna say "thank you". Maybe some of you know already,that currently I am facing quiet a stressful problem with my "love life", maybe the only reason to this problem is "I’m not brave enough to express my feeling to this girl I like", you know that I’m sucks when dealing with this stuff yet being a good student doesnt help me solving this problem. I just dont want this problem affect my academic performance in this semester, I have enough "degradation in academic performance" last semester. If I can work this problem out, well that’s means I already make some progress, rite?

I think I have written quiet a long story for this entry rite especially for my holiday plan. So, are you guys ready to have this holiday? What about your own plan for this holiday? it’s been a while since I posted the last entry. However, now I create another one which I supposed to be last post for this month. As the title says "my very final week", so this post is going to further see the kinda of things I’ve done during this month (4 weeks apps.). I hope that I can share something with you guys whoever reads my blog. Let’s start with New Year

New Year’s Resolution

It’s totally different from last year. This year I dont have any specific resolution to go with. In case you are wondering of why? My reason is fairly simple coz I’ve learnt from the past that when you set up a resolution, there should be something you wanna achieve. But, if you fail to achieve your resolution you’ll be feeling like ‘there is something is missing this whole year’. For the very least, this is what happens to me in the previous year. I set up 7 resolutions in total (if I am not mistaken) and surprisingly only 3 in total are fulfilled. I feel like I’ve done less effort to achieve them. So, this year I’m starting out with no plan at all. I am curiously waiting for more bumpy roads ahead coz when your life is plain, simple, and straight you’re definitely going to miss out a lot of things.

Projects and Exams

New year turns out to be a full intense week of work especially for those who are taking Multimedia Streaming (heard of, this year the name is Games Technology). The project is a huge work for both teams (FYI, there are only 8 students in total so there are only 2 groups in total including my group). After doing some discussion in advanced we have decided to work together, it turns out that the two groups are making the same identical game however different game play. Even though the result was far than what we have expected from the very beginning, IMHO we are all proud of what we’ve done. 80%-90% of the engine is fully re-usable. So, I just want to thank all the group members: Garry (algo specs.), Glen&Stephen&Ryan (char. game engine), Xang&Oline&Arly (game server setting, bunch of ideas as well), and me (pompom specs. wahaha)

IPC 2008 was quiet a successful project as well for Software Engineering (SE) class. Even though the final mark (as a whole) is not as high as the the other teams, IMHO there are a lot of things we, team PAGE (Peter Andrian Garry Enterprise), can learn from this project throughout the semester. The course’s requirement is extremely very demanding from week to week, but with all the supports we have received, we can deal with them. Paperworks are done and closing report is published as well. I still keep the whole documentations of IPC 2008, and the website is now on further maintenance by Kurniady (just pay a visit to  IPC2008-Official Website in case you guys are wondering what kind of website the team produces)

Exams. I have 4 exams for the final. The courses are as follow: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Software Engineering (SE), Distributed System (DS), Advanced Computer Graphics (ACG). 3 of them are open books type of exams, so basically there is nothing to be worried about. AI was the one that is extremely dangerous to everyone including myself. But AI was done as well as SE, there are 2 left on upcoming Tuesday and Thursday.

Things I do lately
———————
So, we are now movin’ out to the things I do lately. Besides the projects and stuffs, I have quiet a lot of things to do esp. the preparation for going to RMIT. Everything is now ready except the living accommodation which I haven’t found one till I wrote this entry. I have re-submitted all the applications, however I haven’t received any good news. Hopefully good news are coming next week.

Forum is still running almost every night (anyway, is it forum or conference?) where we share things, ideas, and opinions as well.

I spend my day by playing Rising Force (RF) online lately. Playing on private server turns out to be more fun than official server coz everything is extreme and different than the usual.

I am watching Gossip Girl as well lately. I love the way they use the words for everyday conversations, it is so meaningful. Just like Ally McBeal and The OC.

I do some updates on D’abc 2008 Official Website (here is the link as well D’abc 2008-Official Website), It is very fun when rushing out is the constraint. Thanks to Jesslyn Bobby a.k.a JeBob (the sexiest) and JeWong as my bosses, you guys rocks.

Relationship? I am not really into it this new year. Stay single as usual turns out to be more fun. I see some of friends are having quiet ‘a drama’ to deal with when they are into a relationship. Broken heart seems to be a very bad experience for me, turns out she is with someone else now. This experience teaches me, ‘If you are into an intense relationship with someone, with the love you have for this particular person in your heart, and you have decided to have a further and more serious relationship, you should be rushing in real soon. Rushing in here simply means, get your ass off the chair and start doing something to make it happens or otherwise you’ll be regretting this thing when the person you love is with someone else. But, if there is someone (as a normal person I prefer a woman/lady/girl wahaha…) who wants to know me deeper (lolz), welcome! (FS or MSN, lolz)….

This is my very final week I am going to spend here in Jakarta, 4 days left including the two exams. On Wednesday, some CS students are going to waterboom, Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK). I guess this is going to be a farewell for us, me and others who going to RMIT. I am going to make sure that everyone is having a lot of fun there, you guys suppose to have fun. On 1st Feb, I am heading back to my hometown to spend holiday there for a week. Heading back here on 9th Feb, and spend a day (10th Feb) here. On 11th Feb, me, Herman, Ricky, Seindy, and Glen will be leaving Indo on the same flight; Dennis however, will be following a week after on 18th Feb. Hopefully we are going to find a lot of experience there, sure we will.

Before it ends, I just want to say thanks to some of my friends in BiNus Int’l : Aulia&Pxang&Kurniady (almost every night forum on MSN), Ajeph (my moi lolz, oi moi…), Om Garry (the abandoned man), Lawrence (Bos laptop, call: 08119132xx wahaha…), Jan (si anak kentud), Indra (Indra-Man wahaha…), Bambang (Pak Tri’s son), Fa (apa yagh julukannya, yang pasti enak buad diisenkin), Sri (superwoman), Arly, Asta (RAN, indahnya warna-warni dunia..), Cimoy (daniel to Cimith to Cimeth to Ncim to Cimoy finally), Mike (team sukses), Oline, Jebob (the sexiest), JeWong(my Boss), Andrew(cie2…yg udagh jadian kapan makan2nya), and other whom cannot be mentioned one by one, Love You guys (I do but I’m not a gay wahaha) and I will be missing you guys a lot, and hopefully I will be seeing you guys lately (hikzzz….sedigh). Masuk ke semester 2, di blog gw yg sebelumnya gw tulis kalo di semester ini gag ada pelajaran yg menarik di major yg lage gw jalanin,,,Knapa? karena emang pelajaran-nya gag menarik segh menurut gw personally, ngak ada subject yg ‘memacu’ gw buad blajar lebi dari apa yg gw bisa…

Kekecewaan ini terus bertambah setelah gw taw apa yg harus dikerjain buad Design for Interactive Media 2 (DIM 2) and Web Database Application (WDA)…tp gw ga bakal bahas segh knapa gw kecewa banget  ama 2 subjects ini, probably in the next post I’ll describe thoroughly the reason why..

Skrg ini tension buad assignments bener2 lage on, it’s close yes indeed…they are all so close..I just wanna say sorry if it looks like I dont care about my friends…gw bukannya sombong gag manggil di MSN, I have no intention to do so..kadang2 gw emang lage ngerjain assignments tp status-nya tetep online,,,kadang gw lage nonton olympic gw tinggal aja MSN gw…

di assignment2 yg gw kerjain itu ngak gampang sebenernya buad gw,,,I find them very difficult to do..pake Software Autodesk Maya buad modelling aja,,,gw bisa butuh waktu 1-2 jem buad model 1 item in 3D space, I really dont have skill to use this software…pake Flash pun gw gag terlalu bisa, kadang gw harus baca tutorial sana sini biar daped effect yg bagus tp yg ngajar gw gag suka,,,susagh segh emang,,,, pake PHP pun gw baru first timer,,,gag ada yg bisa ngajarin gw dari basic jadi gw harus liad2 tutorial sendiri dari internet, bener2 gw harus belajar dari 0…sama kaya dolo gw blajar C ato Flash di SMA,,,so semuanya di semester ini gw blajar dari 0 tanpa bantuan dari orang laen, kecuali om google (now I understand, apa jadinya dunia ini tanpa google…..),,, so the tension is ON!….

so, to all yg bilang gw sombong,,as I said before I never have intention to do so…I am walking through the hard time…and I hope they can understand it…friends 4ever….
