Words of the day: "As time passes by, it seems that all the cheers and laughs turn to be tears and sorrows. Enduring the situation we currently have, we finally lost in a nowhere land. We just don’t have an idea when will we get back together to cheer and laughs for once again."

My previous post was about e.COM 2007, I wrote down quiet a lot about this event day 1 till day 4 which was the closing. Last Saturday, all the committees attended the final evaluation meeting in which they reviewed things that happened on the D-Days. The evaluation meeting sort of went "too long", I am sure some of the committees were bored. After the meeting, I decided to take "sort-of" relaxation time. I talked to Garry how if we went to Senayan City and ate there. Kur2 then joined us, and so did Irianto. The four of us headed to Sushi Tei, it was fun back there talking about many stuffs.

Tapi gw gag bakal ngomong tentang e.COM lage negh kali ini, as it is over already except the "makan-makan" thing. Kali ini kayanya gw bakal sibuk ngomongi My Life in this new semester 5, changes that happen and stuffs. I hope you guys, whoever read this blog enjoy!!:)

Semester 5

4 subjects, 16 SCU. Pertama gw mikir wah cuma 16 SCU negh, nyantai abis. I was wrong after all. Projects are started to kill me softly already. Artificial Intellegence [AI] course is moving quiet slowly so far we play with Lego Mindstorms ROBOT in the LAB while at the same time we are waiting for the project description to come out. Distributed System [DS] is also moving quiet slowly, lecture turns out to be boring I think however the LAB is quiet fun with C#, I am sure it’s gonna be fun. Software Engineering [SE] is moving very fast and tightening everybody in the class. Every Lab session we have to submit the lab report which is very tiring, however at the end of the week we are also asked to submit the weekly report describing about the status of the current project. Cape segh emang ama pelajarang yang satu ini, kadang artikelnya gag kira2 panjang-nya bisa sampe 21 halaman…gimana gag cape tuh bacanya. Advanced Games Design and Programming [AGDP] is probably the only subject I’m going to enjoy the most. Biarpun gw ancor berantakan coding-nya tapi gw tetep berusaha buad maju koq demi subject yang satu ini. Kata orang bilang segh "semut yang kecil aja bisa gigit kalo dia diganggu", knapa kita ngak. Project-nya bakalan bener2 ngabisin waktu ini mungkin juga bakal gag lembur sampe gag tidur untuk beberapa hari..tapi yang paling penting gw maw upgrade memory laptop dolo supaya pas ngerjain projectnya lumayan geto degh pas compiling and stuffs..

Sebenernya di semester ini blom begitu mulai banged pressure-nya buad gw, cuma udah mulai berasa. Mungkin dalem 1 minggu ke depan mulai berasa banged. Gw yakin kayanya temen2 yang laen juga sependapat ama gw. Banyak kebiasaan2 lama yang nantinya bakal berubah. Kemaren minggu gw semped maen dotA barenk Herman, Ricky, and Seindy. It was really fun you know sat there together and playing as a team. I dont know what will be happening next, maybe it was the last time we played together for this semester. Kayanya kali ini gag bakal maen2 lagi, it was done and probably will forget about this game real soon.

Tapi one thing I notice segh gw beruntung di keliling ama orang2 yang very supportive terutama di kampus. We always find times to chat and laugh together.I think we all need to relax at the same time we are also being serious in doing projects and stuffs. So, gud luk for everyone for this semester..Fighting!!~

Well, it is a long time since my last update, the last time i actually sit in front of my laptop thinking what to write sentence by sentence, the last time i actually press ‘SAVE’ button as if to post my blog, the last time I myself visit my own blog to review what I’ve written. There were some problems back in the past which probably I’m going to write them down here, but most of all it is because of the internet connection the contract was over like 4-5 months ago and I don’t have any connection so far. Now the connection problem is finally settled after long fights and discussion with my lil sister, my lil brother, and my cousin. However, I’m not going to write about sort of things in this post just wait another post. This time I will write an experience back in the August about e.COM 2007.

e.COM 2007

It was great experience maybe this is one of the memories that will stay in my mind for the rest of my life. Banyak kejadian2 yang sebenernya menarik buad gw sendiri but in other points of view banyak juga kejadian yang gag menarik on the contrary. Taon ini buad e.COM 2007 gw join IT (Information Technology) division. Dari e.COM 2006 sebenernya pengen join ke division ini cuma berhubung gag ada skill mungkin sampe sekarang juga gag ada skill akhirnya gag berani apply ke divisi ini. e.COM 2007 gag taw asal critanya gw juga gag ngerti knapa bisa join division ini mungkin sama hal-nya ama anak2 IT yang laen kaya Sri, Fa, Monica, Purnama, Bobby gw rasa mereka gag taw knapa mereka join division ini hahaha….it’s wierd rite? Ternyata join division ini gag banyak kerjaan karena semua-nya di handle ama Kur2, jadi kita intinya segh gag ada kerjaan tapi pas hari H datenk segh hahaha….

Dibilang gag ada kerjaan segh ngak juga, ternyata pas udagh maw e.COM mulai geto ada kerjaan bantuin anak registration masuk2in nama participant ke database pake Query Browser MySQL. Mayan cape mayan pegel sampe kurang tidur tapi berhubung gw berpikir udaghlah daripada gw gag kerjain apa2, bantu2 anak regist dikid gpp degh…cape juga yagh sorting participant sebanyak itu hahaha…selain itu segh hari2 sebelumnya tepatnya sebelum technical meeting semped ke kampus beberapa kali sebenernya tujuannya isenk doank ketemu Cimith ama Michael yang sibuk ama urusan Design segala macem akhirnya memutuskan untuk membantu kerjaan mereka sedikid bikin ID Tag buad committe yang cuma 5 orang…kerjaan yang ini gag cape soalnya kerjain di PC rumah 5menitan kelar kayanya segh karena basically cuma pas2in foto ditempat yang udagh disiapin doank, jadi gag banyak makan tenaga…tadinya ada rencana maw nemenin Cimith buad pergi bikin badge di Senen yagh kalo gag salah, berhubung 1 dan laen hal jadinya gw gag jadi tapi Cimith pergi sendiri dan pulang dengan selamat….hahaha:)

Pas D-Day hari pertama datenk-nya lumayan pagi yang laen juga kayanya banyak yang lebi pagi dari gw ato bahkan ada yg nginep dikampus geto…i don’t exactly know about this. Hari pertama gag geto ada kerjaan di ruang IT. Ada beberapa division complain about the system, but Kur2 handle them all. Paling segh bener2in nama participant doank trus upload2in foto anak2 di system kayanya gag geto lama juga kalo kerjaan yang ini. Berhubung gag ada kerjaan and gw tau bakal gag ada kerjaan selama D-Day e.COM gw memutuskan untuk bawa Camera ke kampus melanjutkan hobby photography gw take pictures here and there…Lumayan juga pake camera bokap udagh lebi dari cukup kayanya in term of quality

Hari2 berikutnya which was day 2,3, and day 4 the closing gag geto banyak kerjaan well should i say gag ada kerjaan segh sebenernya. Tadinya anak2 yang lain si Monica ama Purnama udagh gag maw datenk tapi gw bujuk2 akhirnya mereka memutuskan untuk datenk…bisa gw bayangkan betapa sepinya itu 404 tanpa mereka hahaha…akhirnya kita memutuskan untuk menghabiskan waktu dengan download dan main, thanks buad yg sudagh sering berkunjung di ruangan IT 404 buad Ajeph, Michael, Bambang, Kentung, Fiona, dll akhirnya ruangan itu jadi hidup gag kalah ama committee room dibawah kayanya segh…Gw juga sambil ambil2 foto paling ke sana-sini keliling2 tapi bosen juga yagh I mean like taking pictures 4 days in a row somehow turns out boring hahaha….

Hari ke 4 kayanya udagh mayan segh ada beberapa LO yang udagh gag nge-LO-in team mereka geto jadi mereka rada free alhasil maen ke 404 juga….jadinya gag sepi hahaha…thanks to them :p Kur2 masi handle complain di competition, yang laen seperti biasa maen ngobrol….yup bener2 plong gag ada kerjaan. Final Closing kayanya ada beberapa masalah ama division atas gw gag taw segh tepatnya apa cuma kayanya semua-nya udagh settled geto hopefully…ambil pictures terus berlanjut sampe final closing sampe gw pulang:p

In conclusion segh sebenernya e.COM 2007 ini sedikid membosankan buad gw disatu sisi karena memang gw gag ada kerjaan ama sekali. Well, kalo memang taw gag ada kerjaan sebenernya gw gag maw join e.COM mungkin gw bakal pulang kampung aja kali liburan disana cuma berhubung udagh join kayanya harus tetep datenk….i was kinda upset to know the fact i didn’t learn something academically from this year e.COM, maybe I put to much of high expectations to be in this division, sorry to say but this is the fact. Beda ama divisi taon lalu I thought I learn couple of things academically I dealt with people I dealt with the team, you know it was exciting. Apart from academic kind of stuff, gw belajar bersosialisasi dengan lebi baik taon ini. I spent most of the time in e.COM to chat with the junior 2010 students and some 2011 maybe from Scrabble Officer (SO) and Liaison Officer (LO). I know them maybe in a better way we chat all time gossiping, it was fun back in 404 after all, so thanks to them basically.

Rasanya sedikit anegh segh buad gw taon ini, taon lalu pas e.COM gw bener2 nge-rasain apa itu hectic segala macem, dimarahin sana-sini, kerjaan yang super numpuk, kerjaan yang gag kelar sampe pas closing aja masi sibuk printing certificate cari Mr.Minaldi buad tanda tangan segala macem, orang udagh pulang masi buka stand buad bagiin certificate….taon ini bener2 santai pas closing gw sibuk ambil pictures sana-sini, last year was real pain of work the way to improve. Well, i think that sums up all my experience during e.COM 2007…it was a great experience though it was really boring, I hope this year e.COM was also a great experience for the other committees. go e.COM!!
